Musicality at Her Majestys

 

ABOUT MUSICALITY

Musicality Theatre School are based in Essex and open to 6-18 year old boys & girls with or without experience. 

 

Key Objectives and Aims :

 

  • Enhance coordination, movement & dance skills
  • Improvisation, Dynamics, Characterisation
  • Vocalisation, Projection, Diction & Singing
  • Promote Self Confidence, Motivation & Discipline
  • Gain Respect and Friendships

 

Class Structure

 

From April 2008 our classes/rehearsals/workshops will be structured into three groups, Juniors, Intermediates and Seniors.  Each group will have one-hour classes each in Dance, Drama and Singing.

We work towards one main Musical Theatre production each year, our previous productions includes:

 

  • Disney's High School Musical (November 2007)
  • the 70s hit musical Godspell (January 2007)

 


 

Some of our cast also performed at the following productions during 2007 these were:

 

  • King Johns School in aid of Essex FM Kids
  • Barleylands Scouts Centenary
  • Wickford Lights 
  • Twelve Days of Christmas at the International Port of Tilbury
  • Bluewater's Christmas Festival

 


 

In 2008 we have a fantastic showcase of events lined up. 

 

  • Workshops commence January 2008 for Summer production
  • Musicality's Dance Troupe Rehearsals for Her Majestys, Haymarket 
  • Private Auditions for Musicality Cast for Summer Production
  • Open Auditions for our Summer Production - February/March 2008
  • Star EFX Performance at Her Majesty's, Haymarket 16 March 2008

 


 

Our staff, trainers and teachers are fully qualified, experienced and CRB approved.  Our production team aim to provide professionally tailored productions and bring with them an abundance of experience from within the industry.  We cover all areas of the performing arts. 

Conduct

We do have high expectations about regular attendance time keeping appearance and attitudes.  We believe this is all part of the process to maintain excellent standards that many parents and our team welcome.
